Tom has been a city resident for 22 years. He has lived in the Hawley Green neighborhood since 2008. He lives with his fiance Shelia and they are expecting a new baby girl in December. Tom's adult daughter attended SCSD schools and graduated from Fowler High School.
Tom graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelors degree in Political Science, and then went on to Law School at the University of Florida where he graduated with honors.
Tom has been practicing law in New York for 22 years. He currently works as a senior attorney at a not for profit law firm and provides appellate legal services to people who cannot afford an attorney. Prior to that Tom served as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Syracuse for ten years. In that capacity he ran the City's Housing Department for two years, he represented the Department of Neighborhood and Business Development for five years, and then served as the City's labor and employment attorney for three years.
Tom has dedicated his legal career to public service because he truly enjoys helping people. He now wants to help the people of Syracuse by making our city a safer, more affordable, and more enjoyable place to live, work and do business.
I have seen the same mistakes made by three different administrations... I understand the many ways the City's government supports and fails its residents.
